EVERY ONE HOUSED. EVERY ONE HEALED.
EVERY ONE FED.
EVERY ONE LOVED.

FOR EVERYONE BORN / A PLACE AT THE TABLE

FOR EVERYONE BORN / CLEAN WATER AND BREAD

A SHELTER A SPACE / A SAFE PLACE FOR GROWING

FOR EVERYONE BORN / A STAR OVERHEAD

CitySquare’s holistic approach brings opportunity and resources to neighborhoods long in need of access to housing, health, and hunger. We bring hope to those in need of employment, legal services, and financial empowerment. Last year alone 89 percent of our neighbors maintained housing for six months or more, 63 percent are now food secure, and more than 1,000 youth benefited from a caring community helping guide them into adulthood.

As you meet our neighbors in this report, we expect you will be emboldened by their resiliency, their courage, and their hope. You will learn how we win the fight against poverty by building a community of volunteers, donors, and partners united by a common mission. And most of all, we hope you will join us in a commitment to creating a place at the table for every one – the rich, the poor, and you.

Your friend in the fight,

Charles is a quilt artist. Unfortunately, spiraling depression led to Charles living in Dallas’ notorious Tent City. When CitySquare offered to move him into an apartment as part of the Destination Home program, he seized the opportunity. Through adversity, Charles’ art remained a constant, and now CitySquare’s Housing First approach is helping him piece together his life.

Meredith saw the impact of poverty up close as a child. Growing up in a small Texas town, she knew far too many families who could not afford the basics: good nutrition, adequate housing, and quality healthcare. As an adult, Meredith saw the same problems in Dallas, but on a much larger scale. With childhood memories still strong, she knew the power of one person taking action and wanted to make a difference.
